At a recent management meeting MD, Mick Milner, was pleased to announce that Leach & Thompson's order book was back in-line with it's pre-recession position, so much so that a new job vacancy had become available with the possibility of a subsequent vacancy in the near future. After many months of fighting the current recession, this news came as a great relief to the employees of Leach & Thompson.

Mick Milner also announced that he was currently awaiting sample confirmation and pattern approval on several new sales, which would hopefully be shortly added to the order book. 

The company has kept up an investment program over the last two years bringing in new technology and operating environments, gaining higher standards and recently appointmenting new technical managers.

New projects are still ongoing and the movement of the Testing Lab to a shop floor location is on track for completion in the next few weeks. This relocation was implemented in  order to bring the testing process closer to the furnaces and casting areas.
